What is InvoiceNow?

InvoiceNow is Singapore’s nationwide e-invoicing network built on the PEPPOL standard. It allows businesses to send invoices directly into a customer’s finance or accounting system without relying on PDFs or manual data entry.

Does Earlybird support InvoiceNow?

Yes. Earlybird’s invoicing roadmap includes InvoiceNow support. While InvoiceNow is not yet mandatory for most businesses today, IRAS is progressively requiring GST-registered businesses to adopt it between 2026 and 2031. We’re building our revenue and collections platform with this transition in mind so customers can remain compliant as requirements evolve.”

Do I need InvoiceNow to use Earlybird?

No.

Most SMEs continue to send invoices by email and operate normally.

InvoiceNow is simply another delivery channel that may be preferred by certain customers, enterprise buyers or government agencies.

Is InvoiceNow mandatory in Singapore?

For most private-sector businesses, InvoiceNow is not currently mandatory.
